Operating Information

Club members are protected by a clear definition of the terms and conditions when they fly.

Pilots are responsible for all operating costs such as fuel, landing fees, Eurocontrol, parking, hangarage and associated costs. Pilots are also expected to pay for accidental cosmetic damage beyond fair wear and tear. Should a pilot have a more serious but survivable accident, they will cover the excess on the insurance and any loss of no claims.

Should an aircraft develop a ‘normal operational’ technical problem whilst away, pilots will be expected to stay with the aircraft and have the problem rectified after gaining authorisation from The Beech Club.

The direct rectification costs for all authorised rectifications will be fully reimbursed. More serious problems involving lengthy downtimes will not require pilots to stay, but any home transport costs will be each pilot’s responsibility.

There are no onerous rules. All unforeseen situations that may arise and that are not covered in the ‘rule book’ will be dealt with in a fair and proper manner.
