The Beech Club is based at Lydd in Kent
WELCOME to The Beech Club, an exclusive and professionally managed club for discerning pilots who are prepared to pay for top quality aircraft, all superbly equipped and JAR-145 maintained. The aircraft are based at Lydd (EGMD) and a safety pilot service is available as well as a positioning service to other UK/European airports.
Who can join? Only those pilots who can demonstrate the necessary
proficiency and experience for the type(s) they wish to fly, or who are
prepared to learn with our resident and highly experienced instructor trainer
and CAA approved examiner.
The raison d’être for The Beech Club… The Beech
Club has been formed in order to bridge the gap between the benefits of
owning the “Rolls Royce” of aeroplanes and hiring a tired and
possibly over-worked aircraft from an ordinary flight school. Whilst it
is not possible to completely outweigh the pleasure that comes with owning
your own Beech, The Beech Club is a close and viable alternative.
Numbers down, standards up… We will manage The Beech Club so as to ensure no more than 600 hours utilisationper aircraft per year. Pressure on this number will result in further aircraft being added to the fleet. The annual fixed costs will contribute to maintaining the fleet to the highest standards. Every five years the aircraft will be scheduled for either fresh paint or interior refurbishment. Avionics equipment levels will be maintained at asensible ‘state-of-the-art’ level.
